Julia has a choral concert this Wednesday, it was pretty good, truthfully the boys need some work, but they have improved a lot since last year. :o)
Julia has three girls and one boy in her choral class who have Down syndrome. One of the girls looks like our Meghan, and she is so pretty, tiny, and she is having a blast up there! I think we are almost as proud of them as we are our daughter, we have never met their parents though. We sure would love to.
We took the little girls with us and Brian joined us too. after the concert Julia went off with her friends to I-Hop, this is how parents come to realise our kids are growing up, they no longer want to get ice cream after special days with their parents...

Yeah I am noticing that the kids as they get older seem to pull away from us. Hopefully they do not forget we will always be there for them.
Its hard as they grow up and away itsnt it. But thank goodness they do come back and i dont know that they would admit it they do still need mom and dad every now and then. is nice to hear as they get older that we were right abotu a few things.lol
